Thank you for your interest

Thank you for your interest in the Foundation Course (spring 2019 edition)! This online course is the fastest way to learn how to create a pitch to investors to raise capital for your business. It will be open for enrollment until June 2019.

First-time CEO

“It allowed me to raise my first $25,000 and then continue to raise.”

- Winston Frazer, CEO and Founder , Danae Prosthetics

Our goal is to deliver value

This online course helps you, the entrepreneur/CEO, tackle one of your biggest challenges and by doing so delivers significant value relative to the price of the course. Many entrepreneurs have used this course to secure their first $25,000 to $250,000 in commitments from investors.

They say that your education is the best investment you can make. That is true if you consider the $59 price of this course relative to breaking through and raising your first $25,000 commitment from investors. In that case, your return on investment (ROI) is 424 times the cost of this course or 42,273%. Compare that to the long-term-average return of the stock market, which is 8-10% per year!

Some entrepreneurs have gone on to raise millions for their businesses using what they have learned in this online course. Their ROI multiples and return percentages are much higher.

First-time CEO

"As a first-time founder, pitching your company is incredibly daunting. For me, Pitch Creator boiled the art of the pitch down into concise, consumable parts that I used to raise over $1,800,000 in my seed round."

- Param Shah, Founder and CEO, Factory Four

Entrepreneur's Challenges

Challenge #1 – You need to communicate effectively with investors. Angel groups evaluate 40 companies for each one they invest in and venture capital firms evaluate ~100 companies for each one they invest in.

Challenge #2 – Fundraising cannot be delegated or outsourced. As the CEO/entrepreneur, you are the only person who can raise capital for your business. If your company needs capital, then fundraising is your most important job.

Challenge #3 – As the CEO/entrepreneur, you have the highest opportunity cost of time. The time you spend fundraising is time you could be spending on product, sales, marketing and recruiting top talent to your company.

Challenge #4 – Your business has an opportunity cost of time. Many entrepreneurs spend 6-18 months trying to create an effective pitch to investors by trial and error. If you could raise the capital that your business needs, how much would revenue increase? That is the opportunity cost of time of your business.

Late-stage Company CEO

"Pitch Creator helped me professionalize my investor presentation. I knew my business and industry well but did not know how to communicate it effectively to investors. "

- Michael Keeler, CEO, LeaseAccelerator

What will you learn in this course?

You will follow our step-by-step instructions and learn:

  • how to communicate effectively with investors/lenders to improve the odds of raising capital for your business.
  • how quickly and efficiently craft both types of pitches you need to be successful and minimize your opportunity cost of time.
  • how to make both types of pitches work together.
  • about your investor audience and how to "speak their language."
  • the basic presentation skills you need to master.
  • ways to practice and avoid costly tactical mistakes.

Dean of Education

“I purchased the Foundation Course and completed it. Very impressed with the content, flow, and ideas presented.”

- Josh Smith, Dean, School of Education, Loyola University Maryland

How long does it take to complete the course?

You can watch the videos and do all the work in 1-2 days. However, we encourage you to get feedback from mentors/advisers (as outlined in the course) as you progress through the learning material.

Therefore, most people take 2-6 weeks to complete the course depending on where they are starting from and how much feedback they get from mentors/advisers.

Entrepreneurship Instructor

"I reviewed Pitch Creator’s online, self-study Foundation Course and I was floored. This is an amazing course and I currently incorporate it in the curriculum of all of my Entrepreneurial Finance classes both in-person and online!"

- Jim Kyung-Soo Liew, Ph.D. Assistant Professor in Finance Johns Hopkins Carey Business School

How this course is different?

1) Other books and learning materials focus only on the slide deck. The Foundation Course improves your odds of getting an investment by teaching you how to: 1) develop and synchronize a "read me pitch" and a "listen to me pitch"; and 2) how to use both pitches effectively.

2) Other books and learning materials are not organized for learning efficiency. Our Foundation Course is the fastest way to create a pitch to investors because it was purpose built for learning efficiency. It uses step-by-step instructions, learning objectives and building-block approach.

3) Other books and online resources typically focus only on early-stage startups. Our Foundation Course teaches fundamental principles of pitching investors that can be used: 1) for companies of different stages and types; and 2) by first-time entrepreneurs and repeat CEOs.

We would never want you to be unhappy!
